Default A great tutorial to make an image background transparent using pixlir

I used this to make the background transparent and was able to do it the second time around.

The reason it took two tries was I forgot to save the image as a png as it tells you to in order for the change to take effect.

I like pixlr too. Its very handy to do quick image edits when I'm out and about working with people who don't have Photoshop. If you create a free account you can save projects too.
