Issue with using Splash Screen script with Image Slideshow script

The homepage of our website has a couple of slideshows from DD. The website is http://www.danville.k12.il.us. The main slideshow and the slideshow of the schools in the upper right is using the Ultimate Fade-in Slideshow (v2.4) found here: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...nslideshow.htm

I am trying to create a splash page that I can call when we have a school closing due to snow. I am using the Splash Page script found here: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...amicsplash.htm

When I test the splash page, the two slideshows on the homepage are shown (everything else is hidden) I understand that the splash screen basically just "covers" the real homepage. I am thinking that there is an issue with the z-index somewhere. Is there a way to increase the z-index of the splash page to cover up the two slideshows?

I think I have it figured out now. I set the Z-index on both slideshows to 0 and that seems to work.
