3) Describe problem: I'm not sure if this is a typo, but on the front page it looks like the script will be released just before New Year's Eve.

I am not sure about the Nov 19, 12' bit. What I was referring to was the main page: http://www.dynamicdrive.com where it says that the script has been released and that the date for its release is Dec 30, 2012.

Ahhh.... I see what you mean now. Yeah, that does seem a bit odd... Probably just a typo?
