Am a newbie and I need help.

I am looking to develop a slideshow with images and desc of the image to be displayed 5 at a time.
For example :- Presenting an Art Gallery - only 5 at a time
If a user clicks a button, the first 5 (JPGS) paintings with the (TEXT) desc is shown.
when the user clicks again, the next 5 paintings scroll into the page (Left to Right) and are displayed and so on.

Can anyone help me with this.
