    Wink Slide Show

    I made a slide show, and i was wondering if there was a way to just use a whole file, so i could just upload my picts and not have to add them like so

    var pict=new Array(10)
    pict[0]=P + "picts.25.jpg";
    pict[1]=P + "picts.26.jpg";
    pict[2]=P + "picts.27.jpg";
    pict[3]=P + "picts.28.jpg";

    the finished one is at http://www.setapartgraphics.com/Brooke/open.html

    or if you know any other ways so i don't have to add the picts manually, Thanks!

    :thinks:

    No, I don't believe there is. If you want, I could probably make you a program which could create a code block from an input folder containing images.

    This could take a while though. My own programming project is taking up ages as it is... expect me to take about 2 weeks if you do want it done.

    wow, ya, if you could help that would be great! i'm kinda new at programming, i just started in June, and i'm learning multiple languages, i know that its possible in CGI to use a whole file, but i would not know where to start. javascript was my first language, so i know more about it then other languages, so its sad. i'm trying.

    so ya, if you want to help, that would be awesome!

    and if you help there is no rush, it would just make it a lot Ez'r to use.

    and if you think other people would use it, i guess i could make it so others can use it, but i don't think its very good lol

    I have another script that i'm stuck on, i was trying to make a chat room, and i the scrolling script is not very good, because its very choppy, and you can't read whats already been written. my first scroller was less choppy but very slow, so, do you have any ideas?

    Unfortunately I can't visit that site, Protowall (an incredibly advanced packet tracing software kit) detects that your site is hosted on a bad server:

    Can you confirm that the site is safe before I disable my protection please.

    Ok, no problem.

    Your code generating thingy is nearly ready.
    I might go mad and make a generic one (for all the image slideshows)
