Need help with navigation button behavior issue

I am modifying the Twitter bootstrap "template" - and it has been working swimmingly, thus far... I have a question regarding a "blinking" behavior on the work page (Please see: http://dev.riverroadcreative.co/work.html) I'm not sure what's causing the words to blink when the cursor gets near the project thumbnails, but it's rather annoying... Any thoughts/suggestions/solutions are appreciated...

Thus far, it seems to happen in just Chrome and Safari...

I don't see it. Are you on a Mac? The words do animate, but in a smooth motion raising up to reveal details.

I am on a Mac; however I am talking about the navigation above the populated grid - it seems to be flickering when the cursor is over the grid. Does that make sense?

That's not happening here either in those browsers.
