On an un-related note, I just cleaned my screen, and have had to lower my screen brightness settings several bars as a result of this... Cleanliness for the win!

    'twas the night before Christmas,
    and all through the house,
    not a creature was moving,
    not even a mouse.

    Anyway,
I'm dreaming of a wet Christmas
    Or maybe it's "white"?
Anyway, my ol' friend the cold front is coming in to stay for Christmas, so the former is more appropriate.

    Almost forgot,

Christmas fact 2: ten lords, a'leaping or not, will set you back roughly £4000, or a few good cases of port.

or let 9 of them make merry with the dancing ladies and then you only have to buy one bottle of port for the remainder

Pretty soggy here too - totally persisting it down in fact!

    I concur,
    Merry Christmas!

Although most of you aren't in Christmas yet. I think James might be on the 25th out at Davenport, but Derbyshire, Pennsylvania and Illinois are all on the 24th, although I may be wrong about that.

Just turning 11pm on the 24th in the UK - I have allowed my sister to open ONE present early and now she is snoozing on the settee after drinking a few more glasses of wine than me

I am currently watching the Pierce Brosnan remake of The Thomas Crown Affair while perusing DD on iphone.

    Merry Christmas everybody!

I think I prefer the original. It is a good remake though, a bit of a re-imagining as well.

55 mins to go here till Santa time. We got a little snow! My favorite kind, just enough to make things look festive, not enough to shovel.

    Merry Happy Everyone!
