Oh, I'm imagining the backstory now... Opera wasn't allowed out to play because he had detention..... or perhaps he had to stay home sick because he wasn't loading properly....

Anyone feel like sketching a few more browsers into it? Safari, Opera and the other children are feeling left out.

As for your avatar, traq, it's strange... the blue frame of that gif somehow connects to your current avatar-- you seem like the same person with whichever you used. But sure, go ahead and change it. I'm just glad I realized in time to check out the full image

I definitely like keyboard1333's new avatar. Coincidentally, I just came from watching the latest episode of Doctor Who. I grew up with Doctor Who as well.

On a side note, sometime in the not too distant future I'll try to post a current picture of myself. This one is a couple years old. It won't be an avatar though. I plan on keeping this avatar for a while. This is my first avatar as well.

I misspoke. It was the gunslinger episode. I have not seen The Power of Three episode yet.

What is this image people are referring to about the browsers as children?

    With Kryten's deranged half-brother

Those creepy cube-face hospital porters were a bit squirm-worthy weren't they? Just like Rory's comedy orange pants - uncomfortable, funny and classic, all at the same time!

Yep, the DW box is looking good Keebs.

At the risk of diverting the conversation still further from avatars I'll say that I am still looking forward to seeing The Power of Three episode . Over here in the U.S. when growing up Doctor Who was something I always looked forward to. It only aired very late at night on Friday and could go on till 1am. It was the one day of the week I was allowed to stay up late and eat as much candy as I wanted! Friday night Doctor Who night was a big affair for my family. It was a very rare thing when I found someone else who had also heard of the show.

My favorite incarnation of the Doctor was #7 Sylvester McCoy. He was a very dark doctor or at least he dealt with some dark issues. His companion, Ace, was more like a daughter than the others and it was good to see the doctor as a father figure. There was also a version of the future version of the doctor that incarnation #6 met that was pure evil (incarnation number 13 or 14). He was interesting and rather scary. The evil Doctor considered the Master second rate!.

Ok, I'm done rambling for a bit .

EDIT: Hah! Thanks for that link Keyboard1333!

Try this one for a list of 20 Browser illustrations. Opera (by far my favorite browser) is even portrayed in a couple!
