Default How to Make TOC and Slide Link to Same URL

    1) Script Title: Featured Content Slider V2.4

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...tentslider.htm

    3) Describe problem: I have a client who wants me to float Text over each slide using CSS Absolute positioning and z-index to put the Text above the slide. Instead of the anchor text acting as a slide index, they want it to link to the same URL that the slide does. The CSS to do this is simple. But how do I modify the script so that instead of a slide index being assigned to ant anchors, the same URL each slide links to is assigned?

I'm having trouble following you. What's:

    ant anchors
Oh, and you say the css is easy enough to setup. If so, try that out and give us a link to it so we can see it. Then tell us what you want each thing to do.

Sorry -- ant anchors should have read AND anchors.

I can't set up the Content Slider till I resolve this, but if you take a look at http://www.creativeclassics.com/ and note the large image below the banner -- the sectional sofa, and the text floating over it. Both the text and the image are linked to the same URL. I want to add 3 or 4 more images for the slide show, and want each to have its own text floating above it. I want to use ASCII text in a HTML link instead of rendering the text on the images, because this site is pretty light on pure text for Googlebot to chew on. The text floating over each of these slides will be good SEO fodder.

[Edit] I gave up on the idea of floating real text over the images. Too much trouble with the z-index of the containing div constantly incrementing. Here's the final solution. http://www.creativeclassics.com/ I put the desired text right on the images so I could position it for readability against each photo's background, and I just made the TOC pagination class absolute positioned with left set to -9000px.
