HV script help

I followed the instructions for installing the HV menu, and it worked when i did it on a different computer, but for some reason now that Im on my laptop (using dreamweaver) it says "your browser does not support scripts". What have I done wrong?!

for one, if you're still sticking with that EVIL MS IE, wake up and get a fresh breath of Firefox.

second, if you run the page containing the script from your computer, your browser gives you a "block popups" type of message (if you have the browser to set to block without notifying you, you wont even be able select to allow it), but if you have the page hosted on a server, it does it without the message (I think)
