Youtube API slow loading - help!

Hello,

I would like to ask if there are any problems with youtube API loading content? Since 26th of June I'm having very long response times (25 seconds per pageload!). But I have to say that API was working for previous 8 months 100% properly.
Is youtube making any API upgrades or did any changes on it? How can I check if there's anything wrong with my API implementation? How can I fix these long pageloads? Help please!
