How to get Swiss Army Slideshow in Responsive Design ?

Sorry in advance if this has been asked and answered before.

I have used the script a couple of times for slideshows and I really like it as it is fade in for multiple platforms.

This time, I would like to try to use it in a Responsive Design situation (adapt the layout to the viewing environment, and also use flexible images)

To make the images flexible, I usally simply add max-width:100% and height:auto. But that does not work here.

I am not an expert, so I ask the question... " How to get Swiss Army Slideshow to work (adjust) in Responsive Design ?"
