I have a question, and i dont know if i need to do this with html or javascript.

My portfolio website will have a scroller on the homepage showing like 3-4 of my last projects. But... ill have like 3 different categories. Now what i wanted to do was make a small menu underneith the scroller, and when you click on a different category, the images in the scroller need to change, do i need to do this with some kind of javascript thing, or just make html change the whole thing??
