    Default Is PGP Secure?

Is there a consensus concerning whether the NSA (or, for that matter, anyone else), lacking the private key, is able to decrypt PGP messages?

There is no way to determine for certain if the NSA is able to decrypt PGP messages for certain until someone finds them doing so, but the general consensus is no.
However, there is no reason for them to crack PGP, because there are many, far easier exploits/vulnerabilities for them to target that are a lot easier than cracking PGP.
