swf background in flash xml site

Am customizing a flash xml template for my client. In that template the author used jpg for background.

<menuItem page_title="HOME" swf="home.swf" xmlPath = "xml/home.xml" bgImage= "images/background/1.jpg"/>

I need the background to be a animated swf background. By replacing the "1.jpg" to "1.swf" will loads the swf, but shows only the first frame of the swf while background music playing. Can't get the animated background.

Please guide friends, its really urgent!

I think you need the FLA file (from which the SWF movie was generated) to see what is going on.

I'm surprised the SWF did not need to be embedded ?
