Iframe loading soloution

Hi There

This is my first post so please forgive me if i miss any details out...

I've designed a website for a friend and one part of the website was to include a wordpress blog, so far the only way with my knowledge was to embed the wordpress site (still in the same domain) in an iframe here

The only problem with this is that it does take quite a while to load and I've searched the forums and tools available but i cant seem to find any way of either speeding up wordpress in the iframe or having some sort of "loading" indicator there.

Any help specificly on some sort of loading indicator would be great...
