Help needed with rss ajax ticker (advanced) - see error message posted

Sorry: It's not possible to reach RSS file http://rss.cnn.com/rss/cnn_topstories.rss

I am a complete novice with respect to PHP and not much better at Javascript. However, I have tried to follow the instructions closely, and have only made adjustments to establish correct relative paths. I have built the site within a directory called "testing" thus making the root http://www.socls.org/testing/pause-scroller-test.html (with /pause-scroller-test.html being where I am trying to replicate the ticker. I have also reviewed the protocols for denoting relative path in PHP, but this may still be the source of the problem.

I would appreciate any assistance someone would care to provide.

I only see gAjax Ticker on your page actually (which seems to be working fine).
