Default Image Thumbnail Viewer II + LightBox

    1) Script Title: Image Thumbnail Viewer II

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...thumbnail2.htm

    3) Describe problem:

I would like to have the "click" function of the Thumbnail Viewer II to work with Lightbox Plus (http://www.23systems.net/plugins/lig...for-wordpress/ or any lightbox).

I have a Wordpress site and when I activate any lightbox/shadowbox/colorbox plugins the Thumbnail Viewer II stop functioning and opens in a new page instead of the loadarea.

My goal is to click on a link that brings up an image and then open a lightbox by clicking on that image.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well, because it's a Wordpress site and I'm unfamiliar with that*, I hesitated to respond the first time. But both scripts use the jQuery library, so in theory they should be able to coexist on the same page and even work together. What have you tried? Please answer:

    1. Did you edit the thumbnailviewer2.js file?

    2. Did you try anything else?

If you want more help, please answer the questions and include a link to the page on your site that contains the problematic code so we can check it out. That would be a page with both scripts on it.

*and I've often found that it's difficult to institute what must be done to get scripts working together in that environment, apparently because the developers of both Wordpress and its plugins did not seem to anticipate the possible integration of scripts. Side by side implementation on the same page is fairly well covered but integration, not so much.
