Default Smooth Navigational Menu (v1.5) - OSX Center

    1) Script Title: Smooth Navigational Menu (v1.5)

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...smoothmenu.htm

    3) Describe problem: In OSX (safari and FF 9 thru 11), we can't get the menu to center in the page. We have tried all the suggestions like modifying the CSS with the fix width, margin...

We do have the button bar as an include statement so we don't have to make changes to all the pages as we make additions to the menu.

Suggestions? We are at a loss.

I don't have access to a Mac, though using Safari 5 in Windows, the menu items appear centered within the bar. To say "centered" is probably not accurate, simply that they are distributed rather evenly across the bar. There is no quick way to actually center the menu items (even in Windows), due to the menu's use of CSS float to create its look. You can try fiddling with the CSS of the menu to do away with floats to more easily center the menu items. For an example of this, check out "Chrome Menu" on this page: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici.../generator.htm (it's for a different menu, but nonetheless shows centering the menu items).
