Hi Pratik,
I recently started a project with VB.net.
Bob Tabor's video series at MSDN is a great place to
learn the basics:
-> http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/aa700732.aspx
There's several hours of video there, and there are more
advanced videos available here:

I know that you asked for .PDF, but if you have a couple hours
to watch these videos they will surely help you alot more
than reading from a .pdf
Eventually, I went to Borders and bought a book called "Mastering Visual Basic 2008", it cost around $40 but it saved me a lot of time! Some features of VB.net are hardly used, so it's difficult to find good tutorials or information unless you get a book.
If your going to use VB.net to interact with XHTML you will need to learn DOM(Document Object Modeling) too, there's a great DOM tutorial at W3C schools.
I wish you the best.

Have you tried the wrox website for helpful tutorials they also produce some really good books on all kinds of programming from top programmers.
Er, why? Watching someone type code is more instructive than just reading the code? Seems like a bit of a waste of time to me.I know that you asked for .PDF, but if you have a couple hours

than reading from a .pdfW3Schools is not related to the W3C. Their tutorials are outdated and second-rate. A better tutorial is available over at howtocreate.co.uk. The tutorial uses Javascript, but the concepts are easily translated.If your going to use VB.net to interact with XHTML you will need to learn DOM(Document Object Modeling) too, there's a great DOM tutorial at W3C schools.
