Footer Tab menu + mousehover

Hi, i'm looking a script like in this page:
http://brain.tedxamsterdam.com/ (the footer one).

I have the idea to create footer menu like that, by combining the dynamicdrive Tab, and cmotion gallery, but still after i try several time, it didn't work out.

So if there's any suggestion about script like this, Jquery or HTML 5 i'm really appreciate it.

It can be styled to look however you want and reports back its positioning in a way that can be used to control other scripts or elements.
