Default ddsmoothmenu dropdown not working in IE8

    1) Script Title:

    Smooth Navigational Menu (v1.5)

    2) Script URL (on DD):

    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...smoothmenu.htm

    3) Describe problem:

For me the menu dropdown works great in all browsers except IE8 - the dropdowns do not show at all. You can see the example at http://www.cuttingloose.net/. There seems to be similar issues from other user submissions around the web.

Thank you for all the resources. I appreciate any help that can be done about this issue.

The stock version of DD Smooth Menu does work in IE8 (to verify this, visit the DD script page using IE8). Looking at your page, it's difficult to say then why it's not doing the same for you, as you have several other scripts on the same page that could be the source of the problem. To isolate the problem, create a duplicate of your page with no other scripts except DD Smooth Menu on it, and verify whether it works in IE8 or not. If so, slowly add back the other scripts to isolate the culprit.

Default I have a similar problem

I have DDSmoothMenu and Nivo Slider on my home page and DDSmoothmenu and Fancybox on all the inside pages. All of them are working perfectly on my local IIS 7 and WAMP Server.. with all of the browsers.. (IE,Opera, Chrome, Safari and Firefox)

But when I uploaded it to my Server (Yahoo) the sub-menus are not displayed only on the home page. But i can see it on other inside pages.

    What could be wrong?

    rgds,
    web master

Oh my my.. i solved it.. i was just a typo ... i had my scripts folder name as "Scripts" starting with a upper case "S"!!!!!!!!!!!
