    Default Novice needs help w/QuickTime

I'm a novice and need some basic help...

Say I have an MP3 formatted in Windows Media and I create a link to it. When the link is clicked, a window pops up asking whether I want to "open" the file or "Save" the file to disk and gives me a way to direct where on the system I prefer to download to.

How do I create this scenario using QuickTime?

Do you mean when you click on the link while you are browsing? Or do you mean when folks browse to your site and click on a link there? Anyways, you can configure how file types are handled by your browser (although it can be complicated to do so and can vary from one browser version to another, as well as from one file type to another), you cannot reliably configure how they are handled by other people's browsers.
