Of course it will. The number of images is virtually unlimited. Most likely there's a syntax error in the leftrightslide array.

But it's possible it could be something else.

What I did was take an existing line and put it under the preceding line, then add the next photo, etc.

Seems to work OK here. In order to fix it, I need to see it not working. Please put up a test page that shows it not working and post a link to it here.

Or, if I missed something about your existing page, some flaw that wasn't readily apparent to me, please tell me what to look for.

Although I don't think this is the issue, there is a chance that you've hit the memory limits on your computer (if it's a particularly slow, or perhaps busy, machine). So to confirm that isn't the problem, try a relatively fast computer at the same time you have the error on your computer. Or show us and see if we get the same problem.
That's very unlikely because even the bottom-of-the-line computers these days should be able to handle sliding a few dozen images around, but if you had this problem at 1,000 images it would be more likely-- either way, that's something to rule out, but at 35 images it's probably not the issue.

There's a typo in each of the lines you added. There's a missing ' to end the lines. Just add ' to the end of each line, like in the first lines.
Here's #35 corrected:
