    Default Hidden hit counter

    Hello,
I am following this article http://www.ehow.com/how_7273296_hide...frontpage.html
I would like a hidden hit counter on my pages so i can monitor hits.
I make all my edits in frontpage but use filezilla to publish as frontpage dont support certain extension anymore so this does not work for me.
Just the basic page shown with "x" amount of hits is fine.
    Any suggestions please.

    Thanks very much.
    I hope coothead reads this

    Hi there theremotedr,

I am sorry, but I do not think that I will be of much help with your latest problem.

"Hit counters", I am afraid, do not figure very highly in my knowledge base.

And "Frontpage" from what I have heard, is considered to be the editor from Hell.

I would suggest, though, that it might be better to just use Ebay's own counters....

Other members here, will probably be better informed than I on the subject.

The hit counter is for my web page not ebay.
I think hit counters look ugly on a page but a hidden counter looks fine.

I am just curious how many people are looking at my page as i have give it a work over.

    Hi there theremotedr,

In that case, I am sure that you will find one that is suitable to your requirements here...

Does your site host not provide you with a "Web Statistics" facility?

If it does, then you will get all the information and more on a daily basis.
