    Angry Getting nuts...

    Hi to all!

I'm not a programmer, I'm a designer, this should explain how bad I am in this. Anyway:

I'm doing this website and I am implanting this tutorial for the menu:

    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/cs...nderline_menu/

Should work... It does, except it destroys my layout!! I designed my layout in Fireworks, drawn some slices and exported it into html. Now I'm editing the code in Dreamweaver and as soon as I put something in the menu cell, the rest of the layout gets completely nuts and out of it's place. This, not to mention that I don't have any control over the position of the menu inside of that cell. No matter what I do the menu doesn't move out (left, center, etc...)!!

I'm starting to despair, I miss the notepad times... Should I just quit and do a flash menu? I'm starting to consider that...

Thanks in advance for your help!

We wouldn't be able to help without seeing your code.

However, when you say things like "Fireworks," "Dreamweaver," "slice," and "menu cell" it worries me - it sounds like you're using *very* outdated methods. You might look into a good html/css/javascript tutorial.

right... :\ sorry, here it goes in attachment!

But yeah, I probably am using a very outdated method, since I am really a designer and not a webdesigner...
