any problem with a javascript shopping cart?

Assuming my needs are simple and that I don't need to employ databases, can anyone point any drawbacks to a javascript shoppingcart ?

I was looking at this, and it seems ideal for my needs

I'm just wondering if there's any issues I could have overlooked? It works on iOS devices for example. Is there any scenarios where it wouldn't work ?

nice cart,. it uses cookies,. it seems to work with all browsers
