Anylink DD Menu in masterpage (template)

I am trying to put the Anylink Drop Down Menu in an ASP.Net masterpage that acts as a template for the top of each page. The problem is the selected tab does not change.

Has anyone done this? What determines the currently selected tab?

The Anylink drop down menu doesnt' have a "highlight selected tab" feature. Or are you referring to the Tab Contents script? That's why it's always important to include the URL to the script on DD in question.
