Looks like some sort of markup and style problem. That content that is getting covered should be being pushed down. Probably the content that is getting covered is position: absolute;. It should be relative or static or be in a relative or static container.

But uncleared floats (float: left; or float: right;) might be involved. Or it might be something else.
