DHTML Window widget (v1.1)

Having a second try at this. Last time wasn't lucky enough to get an answer but am trying again as I'm sure many other DD users would be interested in this.

I was very interested in the work John Scheuer did on the dhtml window to get it to assume a fixed position on screen. See post:

This works fine in Safari, Chrome and FF but disappears offscreen (does not stay fixed) when window scrolled in IE8 and won't drag at all. In Opera (version 11.5) the window shoots to the left when you try to drag it. Can the code be tweaked to get it working in all these 5 browsers? (I understand it won't work in IE6 or 7.)

I'd very much appreciate it.
