    Question Ultimate Fade-in slideshow feature

    1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-in slideshow (v2.4)

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex...nslideshow.htm

    3) Describe problem:

There's a feature that I'd really like to be able to use with this script, but I'm not sure it's built in. I want to be able to navigate to a particular slide using a link, but I can't figure out how to do it. Something like:

    HTML Code:
    <a href="javascript:fadeshow1.navigate(0)">Link to slide 1</a>
Can this be done? If not, would it be difficult to add a function to fadeslideshow.js to make this possible?

    something like this should work
    Code:
    <a href="#" onclick="mygallery.navigate(0); return false;">Link to slide 1</a>

Thanks for the reply. I tried your suggestion, but no luck. I've been trying to add my own function, but I'm not getting anywhere. I'm no good with javascript.

There is a demo of the above here.

Thanks for the reference! I didn't realize it, but my gallery was called mygallery4. So much frustration for such a dumb issue. Thanks a ton for the help.
