Question I am having a problem, getting a simple gif to play correctly in I.E..

It is 4 frames and plays exactly as it should in any gif animation application but as soon as I preview it in IE it slows down to no where near the correct speed.

Any one have any ideas? I really need this to work and I have spent countless hours on the file and cant find a fix.

    Thanks

    JT

Hmm... works fine here under Firefox. If you leave IE viewing it for a while, does it speed up to the correct speed?

Does it do this for you under other browsers as well?

Yes. I post it and it runs slow like at less than half speed. Load it up in Ie and youl see what i mean.

It works fine on my PC using IE
Maybe you are having problems with your browser or are running short on RAM.

no, I checked it myself also, on a p4 w/ht, and probly 512 ram (at college), and it's like he said, and as Twey said, it works fine in Firefox, just IE screws it over...

it seems to work fine for me, but i do see that it is a little faster in firefox. but unless the person browsing your site start browsing using both ie and ff, then they would never know.
