    Default Can this be done?

    1) Script Title: :: Translucent slideshow Script

    2) Script URL (on DD):
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...ucentslide.htm

    3) Describe problem: I would like to use this script as a header on a website but that would mean putting the code onto every page.

Can this script be run from a single command line which calls a file containing the image paths?

...I assume you're talking server-side. The answer to that is YES. You can include the script and the files related to it on the header by using your favorite server-side language.

For PHP, it's as simple as include() which would include all the files that you'd like to be renderred as HTML.

Take a look at SHTML's include as well. You can easily include a file on your HTML if your server supports SHTML. With a little AddHandler directive in .htaccess, you can keep your .html extension while having SSI includes.

Oh 'eck I didn't understand any of that so let me explain.

I've been asked to redesign and update or vilage website mainly because I work in IT and know a little about HTML and CSS.

    This is our existing website
    http://www.kellington.net/

As you can see it's all done in tables so I will be putting in div tags and css.

I think I'll just do lots of pictures on the index page.

    Thanks for the reply.
