Step Carousel Viewer integration issue

First off I will place my disclaimer here "I am new to coding and on a crash course to get up to speed". Now...I found this viewer awesome and fits what I want to do. I got it to work on my page perfectly but once I place it where I want it to live in the page, I am having problems. I have tabbed navigation using CSS, Once I place my step carousel in these ID tabs then they act very strangely and no longer work as expected. Where I learned how to do the tabbed navigation is here:

There could be a coding conflict but I'm not sure how to find that yet. PLEASE HELP!!

No ideas? Would it help for everyone to see the page and what it's doing? I am really trying to get this site off the ground.

Alright Minos. I figured that would be the case....I'll try and get that up tonight so you can see what's going on. I am really trying to figure this out on my own but having a hard time grasping Javascript. Do you have any tips on learning this scripting language?

Unfortunately, not really. I learned C++ in High School and much of the syntax is the same, so I was able to convert quite quickly.

There are books out there, and there are websites that provide lessons, but I have no experience with them.

I will definitely help where I can.

Well I was able to upload my site so you can see what I'm up against. The first site location illustrates the step carousel working as I intend and expect. The second one I place inside the div ID's to toggle between the tabs but am getting mixed results. Hopefully you can tell me what I'm doing wrong.
