Step Carousel Viewer. Belt "left position" ?

3) Describe problem:
I would like to see a bit of the previous slide on the left of the current slide.
I tried to set the belt to left: 100px (so i'll see approx 100px of the previous slide) but nothing changes. It seems that something in the js override the css, and i couldn't find what.

Did you try something like this:

.belt {
   margin-left: 100px;
}

the "left" property is constantly changed by the javascript but maybe "margin-left" could work!
