    Default Glider script: downup position and variable times

    1) Script Title:

    Featured Content Glider

    2) Script URL (on DD):
    3) Describe problem:

    The "downup" horizontal position is incorrect for the code at
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...tentglider.htm

    Also, is there a way to change the individual residence times for each
    slide?

    TIA, Pete

    Hmm can you clarify what you mean by "The "downup" horizontal position is incorrect"?

    The left edge of the frames appears in the horizontal center of the window
    as the frames move vertically.

    Also, any ideas on setting individual times for the frames?

    Does the problem occur on the DD demo page as well (if so, I don't see it)? If not and just on your own page, please post a link to the problem page.

    If you mean a custom pause time for particular frames within the content glider, sure, try the below modified .js file. Then, to assign a particular frame a custom pause time that deviates from the default, insert a "rel" attribute inside its DIV container, for example:

    Code:
    <div id="canadaprovinces" class="glidecontentwrapper">

    <div class="glidecontent" rel="1000">
    <img src="http://i11.tinypic.com/8efzmmf.jpg" style="float: left; padding: 5px" />
    British Columbia is the westernmost of Canada's provinces and is famed for its natural beauty. It's capital is Victoria, located at the southeastern tip of Vancouver Island. BC's most populous city is Vancouver, located in southwest corner of the BC mainland called the Lower Mainland.
    </div>

    <div class="glidecontent" rel="500">
    <img src="http://i15.tinypic.com/72vilba.jpg" style="float: right; padding: 5px"/>
    Ontario is a province located in the central part of Canada, the largest by population and second largest, after Quebec in total area. Toronto, the capital of Ontario, is the centre of Canada's financial services and banking industry.
    </div>

    <div class="glidecontent">
    <img src="http://i17.tinypic.com/8bg0lkx.jpg" style="float: left; padding: 5px"/>
    Yukon, still commonly referred to as "The Yukon Territory", is the westernmost of Canada's three northern territories. The Yukon's major appeal is its nearly pristine nature. Tourism relies heavily on this and there are many organised outfitters and guides available to hunters and anglers and nature lovers of all sorts.
    </div>

    </div>
    Here the 1st and 2nd frames will have custom pause times of 1 second and 0.5 seconds, respectively.
