Post Multiple Level Drop Down Menus with Arrays?

    1) Script Title: AnyLink Drop Down Menu

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...pmenuindex.htm

    3) Describe problem:
I spent a few days trying to create dropdown menus for this webpage. I went back to some old AnyLink Drop Down Menu code that I had used previously to make the menu work properly. I was wondering if there is a way to create a multiple layer drop down menu using the same/similar code with arrays. I've mainly seen it imlemented with li.

I've uploaded this test page to the URL. If anyone thinks they may have a solution please take a look:

I'm sorry if this hasn't been explained very well but I really appreciate any help someone can provide.

Generally li's or something on the page that you can actually see if javascript is unavailable are the way to go. That way search engines can index the site and non-javascript users can still find the content.

But if you really like arrays for some reason and are willing to put up with the drawbacks (in addition to no SEO and no non-javascript utility, with multilevel menus the arrays get quite complex), there are several older scripts around that use them. At least some of these have issues in newer browsers. At least some of those have been addressed already in these forums. If you search on the name of the menu, you may find bug fixes. We don't support them much because they aren't written by Dynamic Drive or by anyone who frequents these forums. That said, here are some:

    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...menu/index.htm

    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...men3/index.htm

That last one might still be supported by the author.
