I'm having a heck of a time getting a javascript drop-down menu script to work in an XHTML page. I ran a validator on the page and a lot of the errors it found were rejections of the javascript variables....so do they just not talk? Or is there a secret to getting them to talk that I (very green as you can tell) am not aware of?

The whole site is in regular old HTML, but the pages I am working on are in XHTML -- a blog, namely a Blogger blog hosted on the client's own server and integrated to look like the rest of the site. (Once I get the darn drop down menus to work I'm done!!)

Help me, you're my only hope! TIA...
