    Default FLash Pause/play button - DONT start on Page load

    I have ran into a problem and I don't know if its possible? And i thought maybe contacting you guys may help. Here is the website im creating for a company, http://bulls-ivehicledriverecorders.com/ , and i was wondering if you guys could help me, code a stop/play button for this flash video. The company really wants their promotion video up there, so i thought it would be clever to put in it the Viewer Software, BUT im having problems finding a code to basically make a button to stop/play the video. It would be awesome if by chance know how to make a html code that could control that flash video. Ultimately what I want to do is, make that player Stop and Pause button "actionable" by just placing mock buttons over them.

    My dream/goal scenario is to have 1 pause, 1 play button, and for the video NOT to start on page load. If you can help me, good bless you, if not please don't worry about it, you guys already helped me a ton by just your post.

    Here is the code of the flash.
    <object width="480" height="360" classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://active.macromedia.com/flash6/cabs/swflash.cab#version=6.0.0.0">

    <param name="movie" value="bulls-i_Promotion_Video_ENG.swf" />

    <param name="loop" value="false" />

    <param name="WMode" value="Opaque" />

    <param name="quality" value="high" />

    <param name="bgcolor" value="" />

    <param name="align" value="" /><embed src="bulls-i_Promotion_Video_ENG.swf" loop="false" wmode="Opaque" quality="high" bgcolor="" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" align="" height="360" width="480"></object>

    I see you're using YouTube. To control the video, you must use the Chromeless Player.

    yeah sorry i had to change to youtube just to avoid the Auto play, but im still looking for a .swf player that i could possibly make my own buttons (over the background image or player ones), that could control the .swf, The problem is though i haven't ran into a viewer that has had the capability of creating outside buttons.

    honestly at this point though, i'd take a flash player without the buttons, the code of macromedia i have right now though just doesn't let me have a timer to start? Honestly a start timer would be all i need at this point. The external buttons is probably asking for too much. But right now the google translate load, is causing the flash video to double load on Mozilla, so got to change the "auto play" or timer somehow.

    Any player suggestions? thank you so much if anyone can help.

    I really do not have any answers, but ...

    Would File>Publish Settings>HTML Playback: Paused at Start checkbox help?* I see you are using old http://active.macromedia.com/flash6/...ersion=6.0.0.0

    You can put controls in Flash, but HTML/JavaScript and Flash/ActionScript do not communicate well with each other. But what about new HTML5 <video>tag</video>? http://videojs.com/ http://html5video.org/ http://mediaelementjs.com/

    I have not used it myself, but "The SWFObject script by Geoff Stearns is an excellent, freely available JavaScript that embeds Flash. "http://code.google.com/p/swfobject/ http://www.longtailvideo.com/support...FObject_Method
    I'm also not familiar with "JW Player." http://www.longtailvideo.com/support...mbedding-flash

    Please don't interrupt another discussion with your question. Post a new thread if you'd like. Or post in the paid work requests if you want to hire someone (rather than ask for free help here).
