Accordian Menu help needed

Okay. To start I am relatively new to javascript and accordian menu so I apologize in advance if I sound noobish, I am. Anyways on to my question. I've been tasked with migrating our web site from one server to another and the slide menu we had on the old server won't transfer over, so I have decided to make a new one and this is what I found for the replacement.

The slidemenu that is being replaced can be found at SCI Active Stall Moniter

What I've done so far is in the attatched Zip and is based off of the tutorial found here: Bullet List Accordian Menu

My problem is that in the existing system the slidemenu link for the active page is a different color as long as its not a main header.

Do you have an online link to what you have so far? It makes debugging a lot easier...

I actually just got a hold of one, my boss gave me a port to work from.

The site in its original is at http://www.sciiinc.com and the menu system that I'm trying to replicate is in the Database Administration

The site as I work on it is at http://smallbusinessit.sciinc.com:8081/ and the menu is in the same place.
