EXPANDING accordions through external links

Hello everyone,
I am working on the accordions
http://jqueryui.com/demos/accordion/#default

Now, i am keeping a link of those accordions on the top bar as a link to those accordions, as i am using a="#name" to link to the accordions so they can open on click from the top links, but they are taking them to the place where they exist and are not expanding the way they open when we click on them as accordions.

So is it a way where we can make the accordions expand as they same way by clicking from the top bar where they are placed as links..??
