Default litebox creation for updating data

    hi,

I want to create a litebox with one or two inputs in it and submit button.
These inputs would work in jQuerry to update information in main page..

I see many websites are using them, but i am not so good in javascript

if you know any examples of simple litebox which could work with jQuerry, please inform me.

    All suggestions are welcome.

    Kind regards, Aurimas.

    Corrections to my coding/thoughts welcome.

As far as I know, SlimBox is not intended to be used to present a form or a page or any markup, only images.

    These are all jQuery 'modals':

Some if not all of which will allow you to present the user a box containing a form, or just some markup that looks like a form.

Once you do that, you may use jQuery and/or AJAX to directly update the page.

For example (sort of, along with the other available FancyBox documentation shows much of what you could do for this), using FancyBox:

But the short answer is probably 'no'. I'm not aware of anything that shows specifically how to do this. The options available depend upon what you want to accomplish. Like - do you just want to update the page, or do you also want to update the session (assuming you have one) or other server side data? And upon which script you use to present the form or whatever you want to show the user in the 'box'.

Here's another 'example', this time using jQueryUI Dialog:
