    <embed src="http://www.mysite.com/mysound.wav"> should work. Obviously you need to have the sound uploaded somewhere accessible.

    thanks Twey,

    What i want it to do is play when they view the listing.

    So if i upload my .wav file to geocities.

    Do i put

    <embed src="http://www.geocities.com/mysound.wav">

    in the HTML when listing.
    And it should play once the page is opened?

    Sorry for being a bit dumb about this.

    If your WAV file was stored at www.geocities.com/mysound.wav, yes. More likely, it would be something like http://members.geocities.com/~lee2lee/mysound.wav.
