Exclamation Blog for a static website

    Hi,

I have a HTML website and now I need to add "blog" feature to it. How do I go about doing it? Is there a Blog Component that i can plugin to my static website? My hosting supports PHP. Please let me know if there is a plug-n-play blog component. What is the easiest way to add a BLOG to a html website?

    Thanks.

I would suggest Wordpress. You can easily download and install it if your host also supports sql databases.

You can also watch the following video which will walk you through downloading and installing wordpress. You don't really need to watch the video past 10:30.

Thanks a lot. My hosting company provides Wordpress. Configuring it was easy too.

No problem, I'm glad to help

Here on DD, we like to keep things organized. In an effort to do so, you have the option to set a thread to resolved when an issue is fixed. To make the status of the thread resolved:
    1. Go to your first post
    2. Edit your first post
    3. Click "Go Advanced"
    4. In the dropdown next to the title, select "RESOLVED"
