    Are you referring to adding a drop down menu to Gooey Menu? The 2nd link you included is an accordion menu, which is different from a drop down menu.

    DD Admin....I didn't mean to post that particular 2nd link, not looking for an accordion menu.
    Should have posted this link instead....

    Update...I appear to have confused myself!!
    I thought the menu items in "gooey menu" were defined within the JScript code, they are not.
    To add a drop down menu to a "gooey menu" all I have to do is insert the "drop down menu" pointers within the relevant <li><a href=" "</a>Categories</Li> gooey item and both codes share the same resource.

    Thanx for your patience.

    Hi

    I'm struggling to get a sub-menu working with the gooey menu.

    If I add in sub menus, they don't appear as drop-down sub menus.

    For example:

    <ul id="gooeymenu1" class="gelbuttonmenu">
    <li><a href="http://www.dynamicdrive.com/">Home</a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/">CSS Codes</a>
    <ul>
    <li><a href="http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/">Sub menu 1</a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/">Sub menu 2</a></li>
    </ul>
    </li>
    <li><a href="http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/">Forums</a></li>
    <li><a href="http://tools.dynamicdrive.com">Tools</a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.javascriptkit.com/" class="selected">JavaScript</a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.cssdrive.com">CSS Gallery</a></li>
    </ul>

    Am I missing something?

    Anyone got an example of this? I've searched for lava menu with sub menu to no avail as well.

    Many thanks
    Al

    Alshack:
    An easy way to add a drop down menu to the Gooey Menu is to use a script like Anylink CSS Menu or DD Mega Menu. These scripts work on arbitrary menu links to extend them with a drop down menu, such as a menu item within Gooey Menu.

    Brilliant - thanks Admin.

    Before I begin, I don't suppose yo know if, when hovering over the drop-down menu, the gooey menu retains its position? For example, if gooey menu item 3 has some sub-menus, will the gooey effect over menu item 3 remain when the mouse is over the sub-menu items?

    Many thanks again

    Hi again

    I've got it working, apart from the sub-menus not keeping the gooey effect on the top level menu.

    Example here - http://www.website-design-local.co.uk/. The sub-menu is under the "home" option.

    Any ideas?

    Many thanks
