Red face Featured Content Glider - using PNG with transparency

    1) Script Title:

    Featured Content Glider

    2) Script URL (on DD):

    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...tentglider.htm

    3) Describe problem:

The way I designed the layout of my online portfolio, I wanted to use PNGs with transparency to glide on top of a common background. However, later I noticed that with this script the slides pile one on top of each other while they glides in, making the use of transparent PNGs a mess. I thought this could be solved by adding a "glide away" code in the script. The current slide could glide away before the next slide glides in. This way there will be only one slide visible at a time on top of a common background, thus expanding the styling possibilities of this nice script.

Is it possible to add some code to enhance this script functionality the way I thought?
It might be a great upgrade!

    Thank you in advance!

You could just give all your glidecontent divisions the same background.

Or, closer to what you're asking for if it works out, make more glidecontent divisions than you need. Have every other one be blank.

    Smile Alternative fix

    Thank you John

Yes, as you said I added part of the background to each image to cover the parts I don't want to see behind the current slide. I also played a little with the zindex to get more or less what I wanted.

Hope to see the "glide away" upgrade in the future!
