3) Describe problem: how can I read the date from the script; before it is submitted or in the 'hidden' input tag? I need to take the date and feed it into another script and then update the page with the results. I obtain the date and feed it into my age() function which then shows the age (and birth sign) on the page, before the form is submitted. So I need the changed birth date (as it is changed). Which variable contains the updated date?
