    Default Fancy favicon display in browser

    Hi. I'm wanting to know how to create a "fancy" favicon display in a browser. Where not only is the favicon shown, but so is a colored area and the site's name.
    For example:



    I'm not sure what to call it so Google searches have been fruitless. Thanks for any and all tips!

    That's not the favicon. Both sites have the same favicon (different picture of course). The facebook site is https (secure, SSL), so that is displayed by some browsers (such as firefox). So it's not a stylistic choice, but if you want that you will need to make a secure site over HTTPS using SSL.
