Chained Select Menu: Empty Lists!!!!

3) Describe problem: When I set up the chained select menu on my site with unmodified code, the lists come up empty and eventhough I have empty lists disabled, they are all active. It seems like it's not connecting with config.js. I did a little research and apparently there's a conflict with chainedmenu.js using "content". I fixed all that, and it still doesn't work. I'm sure it has something to do with the template I'm putting it in, but I don't really know where to look. I've tested my css and other scripts, and it works fine with the sample.html.
