    Question a professioanl Adobe Flash maker VS an easy-to-use Flash maker

    if you want to make a flash slideshow for posting on your own website Which one will you choose?

    A professional Adobe flash maker and an easy-to-use flash slideshow maker, which you will choose. The professional one is difficult to use, but the easy one is very easy to use(not professional I think), and you job is to get your photos and convert.

    which one is best? I want to get some suggestion.

    I think Visual Slideshow is very easy and works well.

    I have a few others that I got for free at http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/. Check that site every day, they offer free programs daily.

    Default SWF / template or FLA?

    I have not explored the Adobe Flash FLEX* version, but I've looked into such things as Adobe Bridge "output" mode to generate a Flash Web Gallery (which produces a nice SWF movie) and http://www.wix.com to "create your free Flash website" from WIX templates.

    Some people, who do not know how to create their own Flash (or even non-Flash) websites, love such generator aids. But, for someone like me who knows Flash and website development, it is frustrating not to have the actual FLA file to work with and/or be stuck in someone's template.

    It's like dragging out Dreamweaver AbsolutePositioned divs, slicing an image, or using <TABLE> for Web layouts (which makes my stomach curdle when taught as the right method). But, if you just gotta get some stuff up on the Web and it works for you, what the heck?

    ===============
    *Correction: I meant "CATALYST" not "FLEX." From its 1996 inception as Future Splash, which Macromedia acquired and dubbed FLASH, and through all its versions, "Flash"was FLASH -- until Adobe purchased Macromedia in 2005.

    The way Adobe's marketing/branding has fractured "Flash" seems kooky and confusing. What I knew as "Flash" is now:

    Code:
    Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5 software ... authoring environment for producing ... interactive content [for] desktops, smartphones, tablets, and televisions.
    Among other Adobe Flash things are:

    Code:
    Adobe Flash Catalyst CS5.5 ... approachable interaction design software that enables you to easily transform Adobe Photoshop®, Illustrator®, and Fireworks® artwork into expressive, fully interactive projects without writing code ....
    Code:
    Adobe Flash Builder 4.5 software, formerly Adobe Flex® Builder®, is an Eclipse™ based development tool for rapidly building expressive mobile, web, and desktop applications using ActionScript® and the open source Flex framework.
